SXRF-4080DE-AI X-Ray
The Bizerba SXRF-4080DE-AI is a next-generation dual-energy X-ray scanner engineered for un-packed poultry, meat and seafood trim. A twin-layer TDI detector (0.4 mm) distinguishes bone, metal, glass, rubber, hard plastics and other low-density contaminants, while Bizerba’s self-learning AI models adapt in real time to natural product variation, driving industry-leading detection with minimal false rejects.
For plants that demand ultra-high sensitivity, the system can be upgraded to a 0.1 mm Direct Photon Counting (DPC) detector. Optional weight-in-motion and shape analysis turn every scan into a 100 % inline QC and grading checkpoint.
Designed for wash-down zones, the SXRF-4080DE-AI features a non-tubular stainless frame, tool-free belt removal, IP66 (IP69K optional) sealing, and a 20-second cold start. Integrated dynamic rejectors, dual-lane capability and OPC UA connectivity make it easy to slot the unit into high-speed lines, MES networks or Bizerba’s own BRAIN2 analytics suite, delivering safer product, less giveaway and tighter process control.
