| Experience technology – shape the future! At the WissensWerkstatt (Knowledge Workshop) Zollernalb, children and teens can discover their passion for STEM through exciting, hands-on projects. With playful courses, dedicated instructors, and modern equipment, knowledge comes to life – a fantastic opportunity to take the first steps into the world of science, technology, engineering, and math!

Discovering Technology Through Play

The WissensWerkstatt Zollernalb is a unique educational initiative for children and teens who are curious about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Launched in 2016 to mark Bizerba’s 150th anniversary, this special project aims to introduce young people to technical topics in a fun and hands-on way. The goal is to spark their interest early on and inspire them to explore exciting future careers in these fields.

Learning Through Play with Hands-On Projects

The WissensWerkstatt course program is designed to be both fun and educational, combining enjoyment with valuable learning experiences. Every project emphasizes interactive learning: children and teens build robots, program their own applications, or conduct experiments rooted in natural sciences. This playful approach helps young talents not only gain knowledge but also develop a deeper understanding of technical concepts.

Support from Bizerba

As the main sponsor of the WissensWerkstatt, Bizerba plays a key role in funding the program. Annual donations make it possible to acquire essential materials such as robots, computers, and other technical equipment. But the company’s commitment goes even further: many Bizerba employees serve as instructors, sharing their expertise with the next generation. Thanks to this direct connection to real-world practice, participants gain valuable insights into the world of work and can discover their enthusiasm for technology at an early stage.
