Formative roots and timeless values

Our roots give us stability. Our company values, such as quality, reliability, and responsibility, are timeless. They help us to boldly break new ground and shape the future. This is certainly challenging, as developments are rapid and diverse, as can be seen in areas such as digitalization and AI. Our roots and values help us to successfully meet these challenges. At the same time, we are known for innovation—a characteristic that has significantly shaped our long company history. This interplay of tradition and innovation, which keeps us moving forward, is something like the secret of Bizerba's success—whether in the past in the development of hardware or now increasingly in the field of software. We have always been and continue to be at the forefront of technology.

Bizerba stands for long-term thinking

The fact that we have been around for so long shows that our decisions have a long-term impact. We are not driven by quarterly results, as is the case with a stock corporation, for example, but think in different cycles, more in terms of decades. We are close to our customers and partners and try things out together, and we have many ideas for new developments. Some of these cannot be implemented immediately, but will take effect in the medium or long term. Of course, we also need short-term success; we can't do without it. Over time, however, it is precisely those projects that have long-term potential, which we consistently pursue and then implement when the market situation is right, that make us strong.

How innovations become successful

To create genuine innovations, you have to lay the groundwork. We see innovations as a combination of technical possibilities and ideas that come from our employees and partners. This requires openness and transparency in our dealings with each other. It also requires a good culture of error management. You also have to try things out and have the opportunity to be creative and develop your potential. On the other hand, openness means embracing new technologies and new partnerships. Innovations are not developed in isolation; there are too many dependencies – but also too many opportunities. Then you have to weigh up what you do yourself and where you involve others so that a solution can become big.
